Dr. Kaplan's
VISION EDUCATOR TRAINING
The emerging discipline of Vision Education has matured into a deep therapeutic process.
In addition to the impact made by William Bates and others, Dr. Kaplan has integrated vision
therapy with over 30 related healing and growth-oriented disciplines. The result is The Kaplan
Method-Integrated Vision Fitness Training, a profound personal development and
transformational training for people of all ages to have a better life and clearer seeing abilities.
Dr. Kaplan spent the past 20 years modernizing the conventional Vision Teacher Training into the
dynamic and new INTEGRATED VISION FITNESS TRAINER Professional Skill Training in
The KAPLAN METHOD. This gives professionals the leading edge education
and marketing approach to broaden their scope of clients in business, school programs and their
personal practice.
This INTEGRATED VISION FITNESS TRAINER Professional Skill Training is for persons in
the health or psychotherapeutic field, optometrists, complimentary practitioners, opticians,
ophthalmologists, naturopaths and all interested persons who wish to gain competencies in the
technology called Integrated Vision Fitness Training (IVFT), the science of reprogramming
vision perceptions that results in improved vision.
The Professional Skill Training draws on the Science of Vision, Psychology, Human Design, Iris
Interpretation, Alternative Medicine, and Natural Health is taught as an educational approach and is
not the practice of Optometry, Ophthalmology, Medicine or conventional vision therapy,
psychotherapy, nor is it a substitute for these modalities.
The first level Professional Skill Training, (without certification)
is the home study called Healthy Eyes
Modules learning process (See Healthy Eyes Outline.),
combined with OPTIONAL personal sessions with Dr. Kaplan,
long distance by Skype or e-mail. (Highly recommended)
The Healthy Eyes e-learning Modules, (Healthy eyes)
is based on Dr. Kaplan's first book called Seeing WithoutGlasses. They will be sent to you electronically at your convenience. These modules are used in
conjunction with the books, audio material on CDs. (in MP3, DVDs, when available) and vision
fitness products, like training eye charts, pinholes, patches etc, that can be ordered.
Vision Educator Certification
If you wish to be certified as a Vision Educator in The Kaplan
Method Integrated Vision Fitness Training you will need to complete the following steps:
Read and study all the Healthy Eyes training module material. These modules can be
ordered on line www.beyond2020vision.com/healthyeyes and paid for by PayPal.
Additional audio, PDF and study material may be required.
In addition, you will need the following two steps:
*Personal Consultations
Have personal long distance with Dr. Kaplan by phone or Skype.
These sessions are 30 to 60 minutes in length and is your opportunity to
experience the training yourself and in addition, you will have time to bring
your study questions and cases to him to discuss your progress.
There are 10 to15 thirty-minute sessions and the fee is $75 per session or higher, if longer time is
spent. The sessions are spaced about 3 to 4 weeks apart or according to your needs. Emphasis will
be given to eye conditions most common with a beginning vision educator practice. The fee
includes an MP3 audio recording of each session. Additional sessions may need to be scheduled
depending on your progress
* Case Studies
Submit three written and/or audio case studies of clients that you performed an integrated vision
fitness assessment on as well as at least 3 follow-up training sessions with the client. This should be
done within one year after beginning your certification process. Dr. Kaplan will review these cases.
An additional fee of $195 will need be paid at the time of submitting the case studies.
(You will be required to sign an agreement form specifying that the training materials will not be duplicated nor will you train other
people to be teachers (unless prior written agreement has been obtained). Once all these requirements are met you will be awarded a
certificate of completion from Beyond 2020 Vision in Canada and the right to offer Integrated Vision Fitness Training according to
the Kaplan Methods)
